| the lake, the trees, the grass, the outdoor sports...a place run by nature and sports lovers... if you prefer an relaxed, fun environment where you can be in the midst of the great outdoors, have a drink, have lunch-dinner (authentic, regional-local), take a spin on a mountain bike, canoe...etc...and be treated like friends by the smiling staff (and where there is actually parking!!), the embarcadero is a place to go and be yourself. your outdoor self. a place where tourists mix with locals. the expert staff can advise you and outfit you for a variety of sports, and although i have not stayed in the hostel, i checked out the rooms and they are comfortable, big and clean. this reminds me - very happily - of summer camp when i was a kid...but with great local food and wine.. the staff and owners speak english! |
